Hong was admitted as an Australian Lawyer in the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2008 and in the Federal Court and High Court of Australia in 2009. He has been practising exclusively in the area of immigration law since 2011. Prior to setting up his own legal practice, Hong worked at a boutique law firm alongside two LIV accredited immigration law specialists for more than a decade.
His extensive experience and familiarity with the nuances of the complex and constantly evolving areas of immigration law allows him to offer practical advice and solutions to his clients’ immigration issues and needs. Hong also speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay.
Hong is a regular contributor to “Vision China Times”, a weekly Melbourne newspaper in Melbourne. He writes on the current issues and updates relating to immigration law in Australia.
He also writes regular columns for Hong Legal on www.auliving.com.au, a website that provides news, lifestyle, legal and travel information for the Chinese community in Australia.
